Being a Golden Globe Nominee, he currently holds a record of independently producing five pictures within a period of two years. He has been widely known as an opinionated and optimistic producer, as seen on his successfully produced films, documentaries, and plays. His approach to filmmaking is very different compared to the typical ones used by most modern producers. He has also been praised for his meticulous selection of the script, shooting sets, filmmaking technology to use, actors to portray the most important roles in the story, and other elements of the production.
Prior to his successful career in independent filmmaking, Edward Bass was part of the team behind the stage performances of several notable music personalities. In this company, he works hand in hand with other filmmaking experts like Bjorn Johnson, George Hamilton, and Matthew Assante. Because of the impressive performance of this company, Bass was awarded in May of 2007 with the Circle of Excellence Award.
